Malavi 55 is our mid-large flybridge cruiser — a 17-metre motor yacht that carries up to twelve guests without ever feeling crowded. Twin engines producing 700 HP hold a relaxed 26-knot cruise, and her 2,200-litre fuel tank, one of the largest in the fleet, keeps the far islands in play with no refuelling stop. A full day aboard is €2,550 per boat, with a licensed skipper, fuel and insurance included.
Life on board runs across three levels. Up top, the flybridge holds the helm, an al fresco dining table and a blue bimini for shade at anchor. The teak cockpit below has cushioned bench seating and a table for long lunches, while the air-conditioned saloon delivers genuine 55-foot comfort: a curved leather sofa, warm cherry joinery and a galley with hob, fridge and coffee machine. Below deck, a forward double cabin and a twin cabin sleep four between them, alongside a marine WC — enough to nap, change or simply escape the afternoon sun.
That tank is the point. A standard day runs the Elaphiti Islands — swim stops in quiet coves, lunch ashore on Šipan or Lopud — but with more hours you can push to Mljet’s national park, Korčula or the Pelješac coast, and even remote Lastovo sits within range on a single fill. She departs Gruž, ten minutes from the old town, from April to October. Tell us who is coming and what the day should feel like, and the skipper will shape the route around it.
