Terms & conditions
Last updated: 2026-07-04
The short version: you book a boat with skipper and insurance included, you pay by card when you book, and the skipper has the final word on safety. The details are below, in plain English.
What your booking includes
Every charter includes the vessel, a licensed skipper holding a Croatian Maritime Licence, full insurance covering passengers and third-party liability, all safety equipment, a pre-departure safety briefing and a Bluetooth sound system. Not included: national-park entry fees (Mljet National Park, the Lokrum reserve fee), restaurant meals and premium drinks.
Prices and payment
Prices are per boat, not per person. Payment is made in full at the time of booking, by card via Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Your booking is confirmed by email as soon as payment succeeds. We never see or store your card details.
Guest numbers
Each vessel has a licensed maximum of between 7 and 12 guests, stated on its charter page and in your confirmation. This limit is a condition of the vessel’s licence and cannot be exceeded — infants and children count towards it.
The skipper’s authority
On the water, the skipper’s decisions on safety are final. The skipper may change the route, delay departure or shorten a swim stop if wind or sea state require it. A route adjusted for conditions is a normal part of a day at sea, not a cancellation, and doesn’t give rise to a refund.
Weather
If the skipper or the operator judges conditions unsafe for your charter, we cancel it — and you choose between a free rebooking to another date or a full refund. The complete rules, including how close to departure the call is made, are in the cancellation policy.
Your responsibilities
- Arrive at Gruž Harbour (Obala Stjepana Radića 25, 20000 Dubrovnik) 15 minutes before departure.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times on board.
- No illegal substances on board, under any circumstances.
- Follow the skipper’s safety instructions, including on life jackets and where to sit while underway.
Liability and insurance
All eight vessels are registered in Croatia and insured as Croatian law requires for commercial passenger vessels, including passenger and third-party liability cover. Our liability is limited to what Croatian law provides; personal belongings brought on board remain your responsibility.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Croatian law. Any dispute that we can’t resolve together — and in seventeen seasons there have been very few — falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubrovnik.
