The Jeanneau Leader 10 is the sport cruiser of our fleet: eleven metres of French naval architecture, twin engines totalling 520 hp, and 27 knots on tap when the water opens up. Built in 2018, she takes up to seven guests from €1,000 per charter — the price is per boat, with a licensed skipper, fuel and insurance included. Below deck she is more than a day boat. There is a proper double cabin with two berths, a marine WC, and a compact galley with fridge and hob — enough to change, freshen up, or stretch an afternoon into something slower. Up top, the layout does the entertaining: a full-width sun-pad on the bow, U-shaped seating around the cockpit table, and a swim platform with freshwater shower for rinsing off between stops.
Her quiet advantage is the 750-litre fuel tank, one of the longest legs in this class. A full day reaches the Elaphiti Islands — Koločep, Lopud and Šipan — with time to swim at each, or pushes out to Mljet’s saltwater lakes with fuel in reserve. Departures run from Gruž, ten minutes from the old town; tell the skipper the day you have in mind — sea caves, quiet coves, a long island lunch — and the route is built around it.
